Cant wait, I desperatly need the weights feature... I just hope to god it lives up to the hype that would be awsome :) Does anyone know if realese dates will be any diff here in Minnesota?

I am in New Zealand ndat so I assume its probably a simultaneous release,kind of like they did with the LOTR movie,but I might be wrong :)

I hope so too, but i can't imagine that the release will start next week. Maxon has not announced any date yet. I think, Maxon will start distribution in October.
Nevertheless, I hope I am wrong by believing this ;)

One of Maxon's employees just told me that the distribution of C4D 8 will not start this month. :cry:

I had some problems getting my upgrade directly from Maxon, but finally it all worked out fine (German thoroughness, as always). They told me that they do everything within their means to release 8 the first half of October. Anyway, it'll be here sooner as expected. And I do hope for Maxon that it'll be a big, big success.
Meanwhile I started re-reading the manual...and I'm feeling very humble now...all I have done up to now is try to scratch the surface...ThreeDee is indeed very complicated, but gosh, when something turns out fine, it's such a boast of energy...it can be so beautiful...

Ah well never mind,my dealer did say possibly :) He probably thought it was because I had pre ordered and generally when we are asked for my reg number for other soft it usually turns up within a week or so :)

Just look under Window-Command manager, then choose all commands.....you will soon realise you knew nothing about this software.....the things you find in there!
