Hym, great picture, it gives me a kind of warm feeling...
The damned, what is it that you can make it in MS paint and not in photoshop? and how did you managed to make such smooth curves with a mouse??

Great pictures (http://69.42.87.196/cgi-bin/v40/ezlclk.fcgi?id=6786) everyone!

elmasfeo - I am a simpleton so have always done quick doodles in Paint with the curve tool. I realise there is one in photoshop but havent quite mastered the program yet. (I'm one of the people who runs before they can walk and only tries the funky stuff before knowing the basics.)

Am going to try and get a tablet tho. Cant wait!! This forum really makes you want to improve :)

BTW If anyone has any C + C on my simple drawings please say.

the_damned - the curve tool! I had forgotten about it, hehe, yeah, now I remember using it a lot, before I knew photoshop... to be honest I'm not very sure if I know how to make curves in photoshop, in fact doing this topic's picture I've make straight lines for the first time with the line tool, I guess the curve tool must be similar...

Zebula - WOW, great!

Hi,
just a thing I discovered about lines in photoshop:
with the paint tool and holding shift you got a straight line (horizontal or vertical).
Well, I know it´s not much.

:D

El-Rodente
02-08-2005, 10:30 PM
if you hold shift, then click, it puts straight lines between your mouse-clicks

also, for a curve, the pen tool is the best bet (vector) you'll have to rasterize the layer after though

El mas - that is a great alternate ending, I love it!

Hym - I don't see anything anotomically wrong there. It is AMAZING! Wonderful idea and excellent execution. In fact, it ROCKS!!

The Damned - that is really wonderful! Yes, filters are allowed. I can't believe you did that with a MOUSE! WOW!

Zebula - that is SWEET! I love tigers!

Silverwyvern - What a sweet little puppy! Can I have him?

Robken - Welcome! nice first sketch!

Everyone did some really good work on this thread. I love all the line art entries.
