is he going to be a black guy ? he has features as if he would be.. Looks great! far more detail than i would attempt in an animatible character though. GL!

such as?
elaborate a bit more.
on the other hand, the char looks well developed.
yet its sort of lacking at this point, i dont quite know what it is, but even with all that details its not so interesting.

thanks for the comments and my intention was to do something that with some tweaking will be normalmapped later on. The idea is based on an article I read about the gear american soldiers will wear in the future. Basically I wanted to do a more heavy version of that but still with the focus on functionality. There is both a exo skeleton and artificial muscles built into the suit. So my big question is would this work in reality or rather do you get the impression that it would work ?

definitly right about having a heavy battlesuit, it looks good and i agree about it seeming a bit front heavy, just imagine yourself with such a load. great work all together!!! :)

Cool thing, nice modeling! > Can we see the cage? ;)
If thats a kind of exoskeleton under the armorplates, then weight shouldn't be an issue.
Hey, the servomotors lift it :)
cheers

looks cool, reminds me much of the marines from the videogame Doom.
You'd done really good.
I want to model a character like you.
A character to put into some of my scenes.
Sorry no critics. Just congratulations!

This looks really cool.
Design and details are cool. And the face really looks good!
Crits: I dunno if it was done on purpose, but if the character inside the suit has legs, below the waist area looks a little thin and would make it hard for him to fit in. Also you may want to add more seperation between hand and guards for his knuckles
nice work

would it be possible to see the wireframe?

I am not on my Maya partition at the moment but I saw your requeset for a wireframe. I guess you want to see a wireframe before I smoothed it and is there a special area or something you are interested in ?
