Okay, not much really... decided that if I wanted to enter this thing - I should really start modelling it :o :rolleyes:

Aaaannnyyyway - Here's a few hours work trying to flesh out the shape of my character's head. He's missing a lot of stuff at the mo (not to mention the body..etc) - but the head of my design probably has the most annoying b*st*rd bits in it, so I though I'd get that out of the way first.

I went out for some cigarettes earlier - and came back to realise that it does looks worryingly "Iron Maiden"... :( - but if I can get it to look how I want it too - that should hopefully be irradicated.

As I said, only a quick start - but wanted to wave a little hand and say "I'm doing something!" :D

There's taken from another model for the time being - just whacked them in for placement (and because I was bored).

Didn't realise they were overtly homosexual mind...

I dont know about what makes it look gayish... however it looks better than the ears i make

Just a little bit more fiddling today. Still doesn't meet my original design, but tweaking away to try and get it to look the same... (and less Iron Maiden)

right... consider this model scrapped...

Been perusing everyone's entries for this comp - and mine quite frankly smacks of $hit... :(

Gonna go away - have a re-think... then come back for more..

My god, I just read the reply you gave to my thread...why scrap this model? It's really nicely done. I don't know what you've done to the body but there's some wicked stuff you could make to fit that kind of head! In fact if you checked out the Gunm/Battle Angel Alita comics you're bound to come up with some great ideas! Mmmhm, love those mangas!

I could imagine him having thin but muscular limbs with hoses poking in and out of them. And wearing ripped denim shorts. I liked the eyepatch you gave him. With some more stitches in them it'd look cool I think. Very disturbing design...that's a good thing that is :)
