Software: Maya, mental ray
Hey Guys, well i finished my last work, and well i wanted to share it in this forum, so well its this bike a "KTM-RC8" and well its a personal proyect the design its not mine, a friend send me an image and i made it, it was done with only one reference image, it was finished in one week, and rendered with mentalray and took like 1 hour @1280x1024 to render it has GI, FG, it was like soimnething like this: GI - GI accuracy = 2000 Photon quality = 2000, and FG points= 1000, so its not like the best quality but i think its very good, but well lets C&C.

Looks cool, some nice details, but I don't really like the colour! It makes it look old instead of futuristic... And why does the brake lever look gigantic?! It just struck me as looking wrong when I first saw it.
Also, the render looks quite bright around the radiator and under the fairing, the radiator looks almost like it's been chromed, it should probably be a darker, more matt aluminium -

Can you post more renders of some of the details?

heres a close up of the engine, i think it can be more detailed, but for the purposse i was doing it it wasnt really necessary, in fact a lot of things will need to be simplified, but well i will move on to another project.

nguyenanhdac (http://www.cgtalk.com/member.php?u=106153) was right, imho it's too smooth too, but, really great work.. i like that paint color for sure, and whole lighting is soft and agreeable. maybe that chrome need more tweaking, but, final image is quite positive for me
