Key points:
HEAD TRACKING - The EyeToy follows your head movements and moves the game camera with it.
REAL TIME MOTION CAPTURE - Cameras linked to game systems that have per pixel distance measurement, including toward and away from the camera, meaning the player's movements are transferred completely into the game world, and facilitating interaction, such as a REAL fighting game where you throw all the punches yourself.
AUGMENTED REALITY FOR HANDHELDS - Handhelds integrated with similar camera technology and user-placed surface markers allow for game characters to show up on the screen, on the environment the camera films (ex. point your PSP at a table and game characters walk on top of it on your screen, also allowing full rotation.
This is some seriously insane stuff, especially the real-time motion capture. If you were to combine that with a VR headset then the game world would become your field of vision and your movements would translate completely. It's one step closer to true VR. This technology will redefine games in the near future.
