Hi,
i just started to learn animation in maya, and i am wondering when do i use nonlinear animation technique? Do you guys use alot? is there any specific situations that you guys need to use the technique? (I never worked in this CG field, so i dont really know about how the animators work.-.,-;)

so please share me with your experiences and techniques

yeah, the nonlinear animation really helps sometimes cause you can make clips with your keys and then offset, cycle, save to a file and reuse them with the help of the Character Mapper, and much other nice stuff
