View Full Version : animate a text in after effects ??? help?

i am trying to animate a text in after effects but i am beginner in it and i dont know how to do it.....any help ? i ve seen all the Gallery effects that it has in the help file - i want to do one of them

any help ?

The real question here is: what do you want the text to do?

for starters dont think about the text as "words", think of them as "objects".

then decide if you want to treat the letters individually, or the words as a whole?

thanks...i found it...but i have another problem now...

when i am rendering it renders till a specific time not more - and my video has more

make sure your "composition" is long enough to handle the video.

make sure the "work area" is including the area that you want to render

under "render settings" in the "render Que" make sure the duration is set to the length you need.

Hi!
i agree, ask yourself what do you want to do? use paper and pen and visuallize what you want to do. Make a rough schetch and then break eveything down to "objects" . and start to work from there.
