Hi can C4D output baked lightmaps onto .obj like Gile(s)?

http://www.frecle.net/giles/

gile[s] is a global illumination / radiosity lightmapper, capable of rendering high resolution lightmaps fast and efficiently.

gile[s] features an easy to use editor, that allows you to place models and lights without fuss.

Unlike most lightmappers gile[s] handles models of arbitrary complexity keeping smoothing groups intact.

With gile[s] you can even paint directly to the lightmap, and mix and match vertex lighting and lightmaps as you please.

i like to know in relation to using it in MOHO an vector animation program that can import .obj with lightmaps.

anyone? anyone? bueller?

Srek anyone? bueller?

hmm by the lack of response i can only assume that no one here knows or its not supported in the obj export that it doesnt link the baked texture to the mesh

bueller?

Hi I'm over here!!!? :banghead:

You need to create a second UV tag for each object.

The second UV layout needs to have no overlapping faces.

Then using baker select the object and it's material and generate a lightmap.
