I can't get the metal fell that I'm really looking for.

I could use some tips.

well, i'm no real PRO skinner, but here goes:
looks blurry and not much detail, looks bland
and the best forum for weaponskin texture crits is this one:
http://forums.deadlok.com/index.php?s=

I never go there, cause i have CGTALK !! :p
but for weapon skins i hear it's a good forum

get a good reference photo and just paint what you see. Nobody can really teach that, just takes some practice.

Pretty awesome model. The small protruding barrell looks as though it's a flat plane. I'd recommend adding some sense of shininess or reflection or at least lightening the textures a bit to fake it. They look a bit like black painted plastic.

I hope you realize that 3/4 of the external area of the P90 is plastic.

The only exposed metal is the upper/front reciever, and charging handles.

It's a good start, but I would recommend painting different sides for the magazine, since the bullets are sideways, the primer would be on one side, and the projectile on the other.

Other than that, plastic, and metal, keep them defined well.
