What are your guys most essential plugins/scripts for maya? You know, things you just simply couldn't live without.

Please post links too if you don't mind... thanks.

Hmmmm, I use heaps.

But the ones I use the most......ummm.

I often need some of the Bonus Game Tools scripts (AW site), or Light Girl (Highend).

But I'd say the one I use the most is the one I made for myself which is the Keyframer 2.5 script on Highend.

There are just too many good ones!

connectPolyShape! its so convenient being able to switch back and forth from smooth to unsmooth... i do the model in CPS and then convert it to SubD

My nephew want's to get into cg and he wanted to try maya... since I don't know all that much about maya, I figured I would get a list of got-to-haves for him.

oh, right... right... silly me... another thing you should ask is do these plugs work with PLE? i have no idea... they probably do, but you never know.

Oh really? That didn't even cross my mind.

Are you telling me that the commercial and PLE versions are different? and that there not even compatible?

well, just list them all. I'll test them to see if they work I guess.

PLE does support many scripts, no plugins, though.

I can't find a lot of these. I got cps and a bunch off A/W.com

It's hard to tell if they're plugins or scripts when I'm searching :(

edit: K, I just found Light Girl 3.5 and GIjoe

edit2: :) ok, right after I posted this I started findin'em
