YAY, CRUD!
nicely done, good texture, the only odd bit is the bottom of the can (and perhaps the top since I can't see it.)
the bottom ring or whatever, is too sharp, I think it should be duller, more of a gradual curve from inside to out. I also believe it would be going back in a bit deeper.
Lastly I think most cans have a bit of a flat part at the center of the bottom, instead of beingperfectly curved.
eh. . . whatever, I could be wrong.
Nice textures though. . . now give it a gutter it's been sitting in for a year and a half.

i won't comment on the geometry, as i'm not sure about the bottom either, except that the lip - at the least - seems too thin.
the only thing i see that scream 'cg' is that the texturing near the bottom of the can curves from the side, over the lip, and into the bottom of the can. it's quite visible at the very tip and bottom of the lip from that angle, where it's fully illuminated. the texturing on the very bottom also looks kinda stretched out and indistinct.
great job, though :)

Sad image... we want beer cans to look happy, don't we?

Would look really cool is you made it look crinkled a bit

Yeah I had thought about asking for that... but then again it would no longer be a sundried can, rather a sundried and wrinkled can. His post would get deleted :applause:
Alright, I'm being weird today. I just needed an excuse to get away from work for a sec...

Put that in a good environment and it will rock.

I don't know if it's the GI render that makes it appear so "flat", but i feel like you need to up the crispness and contrast of your bumpmaps a bit. Apart from that, nice textures, looks like it comes straight out of Fallout.

Nice image, it needs squashing or crushing to add some detail to the structure to make it very impressive.

i would suggest more detail on the bottom and maybe crushing the can a bit other than that good job:thumbsup:
