View Full Version : Luxo inspired animation
maninflash 02-03-2005, 07:00 AM This is a simple acting test I did with a desklamp, inspired by Cameron Miyasaki (http://www.cameronmiyasaki.com/Artwork/artwork_frameset.htm)animations with Luxo Jr.

Lovely. Timing and everything.
The lamp and the hat could make a few different actions rather than just hop around. Remember how obvious it was that Luxo Jr. was a young, playful lamp just by the acting. What stuff could your lamp do to get his character across?
Nice exercise.

That's so true Henning, thanks for the tip! I will try that, even thou getting the lamp to act different stuff wouldn't be easy becasue there's only a few joints to work with. But it would be a good excercise. :)
