Title: Ceiling Fan Design
Name: Anthony Chan@smc
Country: Hong Kong
Software: 3ds max

Hi everybody!
This is my first post of my 3Dwork.
I use 3DSmax6.0 to build up the image for company's design preview / concept.
I always use 3DS as a sketch book to design stuff.
I want to improve the image quality(for my designs later on) to make it photorealistic,
Any Good advicce for me?
Thank you very much!

looks good, nice retro design.

only the blades have the same texture and mapping, looks a bit to cloneish.

The design is great. If you want to push it further I would try some shadows and an environment. You also might want some atmosphere. Subtle smoke haze with shadows might convey that 'humid South American hotel room' feeling. If thats what you're up for. Or if thats your thing. Not that it's my thing. Come to mention it, there was this one night in a Mexican roadside motel....
