Hi,
I was curious as to your opinions on the differences (if there are any) between texturing for game levels and game characters. In particular:
- UV unwrapping the same for both?
- normal mapping is the best method?
- resolution differences?
- tileable textures preferred?
- painting level of detail
- paint in shadows vs baking in shadows and lighting
- number of levels of detail (far away vs close up)
