I found some previous posts on this subject, but they are a little out of date.
Some issues raised were:
When all camera setting were the same non-square pixels render differently in Max (as compared to Maya - and XSI). When set to square pixels the images are the same.
Is this still the case?

I'm using fbx to transfer from Max to maya - the curve interpolation seems slightly out. Still images are exact, but the images drift on the motion sections.
Is there a way to bake all of the keys for the camera in Max - including FOV etc.

A minor issue was that the camera is pointing sideways when imported to Maya, I simply aim constrained the camera back to its target and all was well.
Is there something I missed to correct this in the export?
