Hey, here is my completed version of a project I did for my lighting class at SCAD.
The objective is put an object into a photograph and match the lighting to be as realistic as possible. I am finished with it, but I am open to comments, questions, and just peoples reaction to see if they can guess it.
object was created, light, shaded, rendered using just Normal Maya. Photoshop was used for compositing the object.
There is no Photoshop color adjustments or cloning used. All that was done in Photoshop was to match the grain of the photograph to the object and some blur.
Now here is the photo with the fake object:

Now after you made your guess.. click here for the orginal photograph (http://www.scottenglert.com/projects/dlr/images/p2_final_orig.jpg)
I hope I got you, thanks for your comments!
