I'm learning to write C++ 3D code.
I really would like to have Maya Unlimited,Kaydra the full version but I would settle for a Academic's for now.

Maya PLE u can not save in right ?
Maya PLE u can not use to learn to write plugs right ?


is there a Academic Maya,Kaydra ?
Maya uses C++ Right ?
u write plugs in C++ or MEL right ?

any and all info is appreciated.

What ever it takes to get there.

yes there is a acedemic vertion of Maya, but you need to provide proof of current schooling related to a 3D field. If you are attending school for CG then you should be able to get it. Try going to www.JourneyEd.com (http://www.JourneyEd.com) to get more info on maya acedemic vertion.
