Hi

I was modeling this caterpillar and when i zoomed out i notice the head showed some wierd polygons.

Is there a way to fix this?

Thanks

it looks like perhaps the vertices are not joined - try the 'join' command on the vertices and see if that works

i think its just that those bottom polys arent subpatched...

Well I noticed when i select those polygons and hit the "tab" key, they are smoothed again. So perhaps I did this by accident!
But anyway it is solved! Thanks for the ideas.Look again for the smoothed object at:

That's exactly the issue you need to remember to hit space, to drop the tool, click on an empty area to clear selection, then hit tab to smooth your model to get a SDS mesh. Otherwise modo will SDS only the selection.

Which I might add, is a very useful thing to have :-D.
