View Full Version : chamfer in xsi 2.01?
sumpm1 09-11-2002, 10:59 AM Never Really used chamfer, but looks like a good way to get sharp creases for, say car modelling with polys. Is there any way to do this or any equivilant in XSI?

I think chamfer is bevel (99% sure)....

It's called Bevel. Select an edge, alt-right-click, and choose Bevel.
Hope this helps

you could use hard edge/crease value to get a sharper crease without the higher polly count... model/component/setedge-creasevalue
but, beveling works too
