CGTalk - Shag Hair help!

hey can anyone tell me how to use shag hair. I tried the tutorial that came in with shag hair but it was pretty confusing.. All i could get to do is create a nurbs curve then that hair modifier thingie.. after that im stumped! any help would be welcome.....

use a spline with a HAirModel MOD.
Then select the head.
You have to set MAt IDS for the head/for every part of the hair.

go to RENDER environment

Add - Shag hair
Add - Shag Render

In the shaghair dialog select the head as an emitter and the spline as the hairRef.model.

Do you know the tutorial about how to medel Jean DÁrce (how to write this name? :o) )

On this HP you will find a Tut about ShagHair and how to use it on a headmodel.
