is there any way to change the "step" of the zoom when u use middle-mouse button? now, step of zoom is too big and annoying... ?
any ideas?
(I don't want to use alt+z zoom tool, I want it with mouse!) :)

Not sure if there's any way to configure that directly (either from inside Max or from Windows) as I've never needed to, but I can tell you that your scene scale and the veiwport FOV have a massive effect on the precision of mouse zooming.

op, beatoperator, try hitting CTRL+ALT and use the middle button, and check out the smooth smooth zoom-o-rama unfolding before your very eyes.
Just like rotating using the ALT button, only.. er.. zooming...

heh, yeah - that's it! cheers :)

too bad that these controls can't be set just like in Maya, I can't remeber them all! :)
