I've made this for my student to lern about the character modeling with softimage XSI .

the character design very similar to rinoa from Final Fantasy VIII
the modeling and texturing are good, her pose is a bit stiff

since you have the skill I think you should make a character that doesnt look like any pre-existing video game character

Yeah, that's what I thought as well.
The texture of the clothing and shoes look a little odd (almost like carpet), but the body, face and hair look pretty good.

I agree with the others that there are some problems with the textures/ pose / model, but overall I think you did a great job! For a student reel, this looks very good. Keep it up!

Oh GOD :eek: ! I love how you people from Asia have this special touch for the art, I really love these models and images, and all the games like final fantasy. These characters really rock :bowdown: .

very good. I like specially the texture of the clothes, i find it hard to draw clothing correctly =.= And yes, She's a Rinoa Clone, but very well done ;)
