Wow, 3 Posts in one day! :)
Had another question I hope someone can help me with. First, I’m working closely with a modeler to develop blendshapes for a personal project of ours. I will be doing all of the rigging, blendshape setup, and animation in Maya, but he’s using primarily Lightwave and Zbrush to create the model and facial blendshapes. This’ll be my first time using blendshapes, so bear with me.
I have heard of problems when using several programs to create or edit models. More specifically a friend was telling me about vertex orders changed going from LW to Maya. This of course will create a enormous amount of problems with the blendshapes in maya as there’s not a 1:1 correlation of where the vertexes are located relative to their number…..did I say that right? :) Anyhow, I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction to help me avoid this.
