about 2000 polys on the soldier, and 3000 on his weapon (Because the weapon is for 1st person view)
He's got two texturemaps of 512X512 each, and the weapon has one 512X512.

can we see some wires and a close up of the gun?
If you are going to use 3000 triangles for a gun you should give it a 1024x1024 at the least.

I like the stylization on this one. Nice texture work, though the boots look a little warped, especially around the laces. For 2000 polies (is that tris, or quads?), you should probably round out his fingers a little more. Right now they're rather blocky.
One little niggle: his pistol seems to be holstered wrong. Most thigh holsters are meant to be drawn from the same side, but this one looks like it's meant for a cross-draw. Which wouldn't really make any kind of sense, ergonomically speaking.
Really nice work, though. I'd love to see some wires.

I must agree about the fingers, yet I'm not sure I'm gonna address that issue, because this model is going to appear in large numbers in realtime, and it's not intended to be viewed from up close. (It's supposed to be in a Counter-Strike-like HL2 Mod, if I can get around the .QC file problem *Help needed!*)
BTW this wire is from an earlier version and has been modified.
