View Full Version : Help on Making own wood textures!!!

Are there any tutorials on this subject...what I want is to do own wood textures ( nothing to fancy )...Ive got digital cam but I realy need many advices, from lightning to removing reflections from wood pictures...If anyone has maybe any kind of advice Pleaze share it so that we all can benifit and not always buy that 100$ cd with only a few images to use!

Basically you'll want to make sure the lighting is indirect and diffused as possible when taking the photo so that there is no glare or trace of lighting direction. Also you will want to use at least a 50 mm lense or somthing higher to take the photo because anything under 50 starts to distort the image.

best way for wooden textures is t use ps:
1st select 2 colors
2nd clud filter
3rd sponge filter
4th copy layer
5th bend filter (or how its caled)
6th bended layers opiacity to 60%
