I'm looking into buying a Thinkpad and have an option of either the
128MB ATI Mobility FIREGL T2
or
64MB ATI Mobility RADEON 9600
I'm planning to use it for more Maya development work than 3D rendering/modelling (so we're talking MEL scripts and API stuff), although good 3d performance in the Maya viewports would be an obvious bonus!
Which card would you recommend to go for? Personally I am currently on the side of the FireGL card, but just wanted other people's opinions...
Please don't suggest different laptop models...
