I have been following your contributions
on CG talk and am really excited about
what you've done.

Have you rendered any animations out
using this style? I would love to see them.
Do you think the style would still work if Mo-Cap
was applied to it?

I am assuming the models are Nurbs
or Subdivision Surfaces? Are the jeans
build into the model or are they a seperate
cloth plug-in?

How long does it take to render?
Have you thought about posing a figure in a scene?

I keep thinking this style would look great
in a Levi Jean's, Gap or Old Navy Commercial.

Keep up the good work. If you have the time
to reply to this, I'd appreciate it.

Brian.

I love the style, it has a very unique look. Great job man.

On the girl with the transparent shirt, the way the material hits her breast doesn't look right. There should be a more defined angle at the nipple instead of bowing over it. There's also some weird shadows going on near her clavicle, just looks a little odd to me.

Nevermind :p I just saw your other thread and realized that's a tattoo.

yes i will have some animations soon done with mocap and keyframes.
the model is done with "mesh smooth" and the jeans is build on it but you can remove it.
the render take 2 or 3 min on a dual P800
yes could be funny to use her like reel fashion model for commercials...

sorry for my english, but i don't understand what u mean with "Have you thought about posing a figure in a scene?"

thanks

Thanks for answering my questions.

In reference to my question about "posing a character in a scene," your images have very minimal backgrounds. I think it would be great to see one of your girls drinking cappuchino at a Parisian cafe. Or driving a car through Italian vineyards.

Right now you have a great style for the characters, but what will their environment look like?

Keep up the good work.

Brian

P.S. Anyone know of a good toon shader for Maya? I am thinking of learning 3DS Max solely because of Cartoon Reyes.

It's okay, I don't see why they are not making out. If they were making out it would be much cooler.;)

C.w.:wavey:

I am kidding, BTW, I think these look perfect, and would totally expect to see them in a high end production piece, like Gap or Levis.

BLT>

You need to get a whole series of the girls, and form a comic strip story or a storyboard of sometype

while surfing the web I found out an animation of your character. Really nice MoCap. Here's the website where you will be able to watch a small teaser : http://www.synthetique.com/ go to the references section and there you go !

For the lazy one CLICK HERE (http://www.synthetique.com/version_francaise/shockwave/references_00/popup_video.html?titre_page=Bizarre%20Love%20Triangle%20(codename)&nom_video=love_triangle&type_video=avi&largeur_video=480&hauteur_video=270) for the direct link :p

I love this style too! And not just because it's about women ;)

The mo-cap animation was really nice. Have any more animations that you want to share?

Keep it up! You have many people that want to see more.

I want to say something about the kind of crit usually given: There's no point in telling the artist how the girls should or should not look. The way they look is the artist's problem, if he wants to create someone with 3 eyes or a mouth in the back of her head, than that's fine with me, just my opinion, I therefor really don't like people telling me that car should be pink or something like that, that's messing with the artist's eye and that's searching for serious trouble. hehe. I really like the girls and there's actually nothing I can crit on this. Keep it up

I do have one problem, I can't seem to open the animation...must be WMP 9.0b...

superb style, bro - nice to see someone finally developing a truly modern-style animation. i've been following your work for a wee while, and i'm wondering - what's the storyline of the animation going to be like? (it'd be a shame to see these wonderfully human characters used for a real same-old tale)
