I have used a Perception PVR for 5 years at my current employer. And they had a Perception PAR at my previous shop. Now my PVR died, and I haven't a clue what to replace it with.
I enjoyed the ability to play it directly into a recording tape machine, but more importantly, on a daily basis, I used it to playback image sequences as a frame accurate render test. If there was a render problem, or a flaw in the motion, I could easily identify the frame numbers, etc.
I have posted this question in a number of websites, but have had no luck finding a solution.
What are the new shops doing with their image sequences to view them and scrub though them to see them in motion?
