In the spirit of the ultra low poly work going on around here:

References were created in Illustrator based on the free Christmas gift over at 3dsk.

At the moment I'm just adjusting some minor things and trying to get the tri count down a little further before i start to uvw map it. Currently the mesh stands at 430 tri's.

Your consept looks like one of the models over at 3d.sk . . . paint over? ANyway looks like a good way to tone down detail so you just focus on the important features. . . I think the model needs a few more polies though, or better smoothing groups.

ANYWAY nice start, lokks like you are heading in the right direction
