View Full Version : Still: Fly fishing...
neilyb 09-10-2002, 08:25 AM Hi guys, just wanted to post something in the gallery for a change...one day I want a real hair plugin instead of 244,950 polys...lol :(
Anyways, this thing has taken me a while. It should soon appear on the front of a German flyfishing magazine...unpaid, but for me to have something on a magazine cover makes me happy! The guy running the mag didn't want too much realism...so I turned of Radiosity!
Sorry for the small size, shall try to get a larger one on my site soon!

A nice pic. Allthough it took me something like 45 seconds before i actually saw the main object in the scene - the fly in the foreground. It simply didn't stand out from the background. I would suggest you give it another color and maybe blur the background a little... That is if you are looking for crits.

Trouble with DOF in Cinema is that it is cack. So you have to find a happy medium.....

great, but i think it needs more dof. still a bit busy and confusing to distinguish the forground element from the rest

Here is the final final image. It wasn't a WIP honest! The busy and confusing look is pretty much OK as when I look at the table on which I work it is busy and confusing!!!:wavey:
