CGTalk - Access to Snaps

How can you turn angle and percentage snaps on and off in maxscript? I don't mean toggling, but rather giving them an absolute value, ie. angleSnap = false.

im not sure if this was the function you're looking for.. i just stumbled upon it this morning.

snapMode.active = false

No, I know about all the snapMode functions, what I need is angle and percentage snaps.
