Title: Sunflowers
Name: Sun Ke Wei
Country: Taiwan
Software: 3ds max, Photoshop, VRay
This image is an advertisement for my studio, and will be posted on local architectural magazine.
My studio provide architectural rendering services for architects, especially on competitions.
This image implies that the building(the design) attracts all flowers'(the jury) attention, even the sunshine(other competitor)is powerful on the opposite direction.
Thanks for your comments.

Nice lighting.
But I think the background looks very strange.

its very nice, however this is nitpicking.... sunflowers will actually turn towards the sun. So you need to move your sun (figured it would be easier) to the other side of the picture so that its correct as far as that aspect goes. But besides that its a very nice picture. Very nice exterior lighting and the materials look very nice.
**EDIT**
Ok I just read the whole desc. you left for the image and I understand now so I guess disregard my reply lol

Here is another wireframe of sunflowers
I made this flower in low-polygon (1200 polygons), then applyed to bone system, and assigned a Look-at constraints to look at a Dummy.

Cool idea! How u make thousands of flowers? Have u pasted them handly?
This is a lovely image. Very nice feel to it.
Two little suggestions if you ever go back and tinker with it again:
1. The background looks a little stretched, as if you had it mapped to the inside of a sphere. I think it would look better if you just dropped the backdrop image in during post production. Would feel more natural.
2. I think you could use a touch more geometric variety in your flowers. Maybe have a few smaller ones, a few with petals that are arranged differently. Right now they all look a little too much like instances. Probably if you just had 5 or so variations of the original, you could duplicate it for a long time and it wouldn't have that duplicated look.
Again, great work. Makes me want to hang it on my wall.

Great picture. I like the idea, I saw the meaning immediatly. Beautiful render
one thing. If you add some distance fog and gradient in the air (blue top.. almost white bottom) and distance fog white also, it might look a bit more realistic)

looks lovely.
I have two proffers:
1- background is not good .it would be better if you change it.(looks resized picture)
2- fill the gap between near & far flowers.
Good luck  .

Superbe !
Nice concept . Like the others said, just the background to change ... I would put some blur to enhance the depth and to prevent that "gap feeling" between foreground and background .
Good luck for the job ! :)
