Well, I should have started posting different versions of this from the start, but hey, I get going and don't think about that kind of stuff.

Can't decide about the background, so I have been playing with it as I paint. Here is the first version:

And here is a an updated version. I think the darker background sets off the fleshtones and red leather a little better than the bright one. But I started this as a figure study from one of my drawings (somewhere on my website...) and then KNEW I should have planned out some kind of background. Live and learn...
