Hello all,

I'm trying to bone up on my surfacing skills by texturing a rather simple bullet. I created a 500*500 bump map to give the bullet a metallic look, but I can't seem to get the LW texture settings right. You can see the final render here (http://www.mabaza.com/render.jpg) and the settings for the bump map here (http://www.mabaza.com/settings.jpg).

As you can see, the bump map is only being applied to the top portion of the shell casing. I assume this is because I used the "Automatic Sizing" option. I just don't know what settings to enter otherwise I would enter the scale values manually. Whats the trick to sizing one's images maps in LW?

Thanks fellas

Best way to see a bump map, is put it on the color channel so you
can see what its doing, get how you want it, then copy, cut, to the bump, then you know its right without a ton of tweak, test render, tweak, test render, tweak, test render.

Hope it helps a little, I'm not a technical manual reader, I just tweak until it looks right, so
thats my method.
