this is only a material test, with bad animation
but maybe somebody will happy with it :)
created with Blender + post process (glow, DoF etc.)

its a little fast but it has great lighting and looks very realistic.

It was if you animated to be 30frames per second, but rendered it to be 50. That's why it's moving like it's in fast forward.

the lighting and rendering are...beautiful!!

the camera is shaking for no apparent reason though...and the bounce is not very much. Metal objects bounce more than that...especially rings because of their inherent properties.. Also...the Gem should fall out either more quickly or not at all. Because if the ring is dropping from high enough for the gem to fall out, then it should happen more suddenly and explosively.

keep workin on it, but I have ZERO crits on the non-animation aspects of this...amazing rendering...
