This is a no reference drawing in pencil. I did the first version in crosshatching, then scanned it and redid the shading by smoothing out the lines in painter. It is meant to approximate smoother shading with a pencil, but didn't have to alter my original drawing.
Did the hat shading etc in painter using a somewhat graphite like style.
I need some ears though....and eyelashes...ah well, who needs ears :) Might do them later.
Any of you try a pencil like shading in digital programs?
And what are your shading methods?
