Ok I have a question.
I'm running LW8.2. I loag an object into layout that has pivot points that were set up in modeler.

Now here is the issue;
When I go an rotate my first componenet all seems fine, but then when I go and rotate the second componet, the first has returned to its original posistion!

Am I not setting my model up right? Is it LW8.2? I did not have this issue when I was running 7.5, but i'm not a pro on LW so I don't know.

Any ideas?

Well it was not so stupid, yes it was on. DUH! Guess I should have given my self a break an not jumped on 8.2 after shoveling the ton of snow my car was under! :)

Thanks for help!

I hope you had it off- because it needs to be on if you move on thing and don't key frame it, and then go to move another. So for the type of animation/setup you were doing you'd want it on. Is everything working fine now?

mocaw - thanks man. Yea every thing is working fine. I'm modeling/animating a transformable airplane from an anime called robotech. The mecha is called a Logan.

What was happening was when I went to rotate/move the engine/back of the Logan, every thing paranted with the engine would jump back to the privouse position. Once I turned off autokey I was able to move and rotate to my hearts content!

here is the link for it

I think that's a confirmed Bug! Are things snaping down to the 0 Z axis? Looks like you've found a quick work around though...keep us posted and if you're so inclined post it on the NewTek Forum.

Well i'm not sure what you mean by 0 Z axis, though I think I know what you mean.

Basicly lets you have an arm. I would move the upper part of the arm into place, while at frame 10, then when I go to move the lower part of the arm, the upper part would snap back into it's original position but the lower part of the arm would keep its new position relative to the upper arm.
