View Full Version : LW 7.5 layout in LW 8.01

hi ..recently i updated from 7.5 to 8.01...the thing is i'm working more with the 7.5 version cause the 8.01 interface is diferent from what i'm used to

is it possible to have the 7.5 layout in 8.01 version ,if so how do i do it?

To change layouts interface to a 7.5 style go to the edit option in the top left hand corner under the file option.

Then select edit menu layout.
Then select the preset button at the top right hand corner.
Finally select the 7.5 style and there you have it!

Your LW8.01 now has the old 7.5 style interface.

Hey Omar,

The only problem with running the 7.5 menus in LightWave is that you will miss out on a lot of the new functions. If you are not in the middle of a job (and why would you upgrade in the middle of a job?!), I would advise you to learn the new layout, it would be better for you...
