Hi, this is no asking-, but a sharingthread :)
I did 2 testscenes in past, as a reply on character studio related questions, that came up in different forums and I want to share them :)
Maybe the scenes are interesting for you. Especially as a beginner in animating with a biped there might be a benifit.
1st is a magic carpet ride like this:
http://www.ground-studios.de/stuff/biped_magic_carpet.mov (http://www.ground-studios.de/stuff/biped_magic_carpet.mov) 1.2MB
here is the file (max7):
http://www.ground-studios.de/stuff/biped_magic_carpet.zip (http://www.ground-studios.de/stuff/biped_magic_carpet.zip)
The legs have IKblend objects, 2 dummies that are planted on the carpet via attachment controller. All the bodymotion are due to noisecontrollers, placed in the new Biped subanimtracks. Physically incorrect, but you do not need one single key for the animation!
Depending on what you need, enough to convince the viewers eye :)
2nd is a biped juggling:
http://www.ground-studios.de/stuff/biped_juggling.mov 0.6MB
max 7 file:
http://www.ground-studios.de/stuff/biped_juggling.zip
The problem here is, that you only can IKblend only one object to a single hand, so you have to do this with 2 dummies (lefthand righthand). They have to snap to next ball (with a link constraint) as soon as the previous ball leaves the hand.
have fun
Michael
