View Full Version : Fighter Pilot revision
Netvudu 09-09-2002, 08:54 PM As I finally dare animating my "signature" pilot model, I decided to fix a few things and apply my current post knowledge to the scene. I think it looks better (mainly, more realistic) than the old one, thus I post it here for you to watch it

Hope you like it.
Before you criticize, remember he carries some heavy ordinance. :D

wow, this must be a new record...almost 300 views and not even one comment?
I donīt think it is that boring.
I know...itīs so good it leaves your brain empty of ideas :applause:
heh,heh...really , no comments? I have several ideas on how this could be improved, but maybe you have some of your own...one never knows when all those hints might be useful...

Hi there,
Start to looks good but I think you need a little more work on the texturing/shading.
Also I think if you add a cockpit glass with reflections from the pilot, and reflections from the sky would look great.
In addition to that you can add a brighter light simulating the sun when is seen at high altitude very bright. that would break the linearity of the light in your image.
Anyway,
good work.

But they are there!...look the upper right corner of the image...obviously itīs subtle, but in the animation itīs VERY noticiable as they move.

Iīm afraid I would need something more specific...
but thanks for the reply...
