Waht is better to make a head nurms or poly i have 2 tutorials

I´m german can anyone help me with this tutorial or with both

It really depends on your personal taste.
You should try both, so you will know which technique better suits you.

I prefer Polys to NURMS. though it's almost the same. :)

They are in fact... the same method!

I think your terminology is a little muddled here, NURMS (Non Uniform Rational Meshsmooth) is Max's algorythm for creating Sub-Division Surfaces (which many apps have). Which as a technique is the creation of a smooth object from a much rougher base object.

Poly's are what you start off with before you Meshsmooth, so both tutorials are essentially showing the same methods. So you look through them both, you'll pick up some great Sub-D tricks! :D
