I thought I would try my hand at this months challenge, so here's a quick (and I do mean quick) sketch of what I have in mind. :)

Big D: I agree football has become a little soft lately.:D
Anyhow made this axe last night, I'll probably re do it tho, doesn't have the look I wanted.

Yeah it's no where near sharp enough yet. I've been working on the character a little yesterday and this morning. Still needs more tweaking, but most of it will be covered with armour tho :rolleyes:

Thanks, this is about the 100th head I've done using different methods. I used the method from the Joan of Arc tutorial which you can find at www.3dtotal.com mouse over the free stuff tab and click tutorials then scroll down till you find it. I've never made a time lapse and am not sure how to go about it. I would be willing to help you out in anyway possible just let me know.

Thanks, the one thing that really helped me was using a ref pic in the background. And of course practice practice practice! :D

I agree with you on the reference image. I did mine completely freehand and it took rather longer than I thought it would (about 8 hours) The thing I liked about your model was the instant "yeah thats a human" that I thought when it loaded up.
