Some doodles ... Funny (or not) how people tend to have the same kind of ideas on this concept ... I got a stallion instead of a sheep ... Why do so many animals have to suffer???

http://www.geocities.com/cecileplattner/animation/honeyCar.jpg

heehee on the last drawing my first idea was this big guy playing car-toy and his woman arrive imprompto... then after a while I realised he could be also playing cars but with the aim to look under the skirt ... hmmm oh well. just doodles anyway.

oh roller pen and pencil ... between 2 and 5 minutes each

I'm just asking myself, does the word :doodles comme from noodles??? like the line of the pen look like noodles?? anyone knows? or inverse? or nothing to do with one or another?

J_Grieve I love your style.

Anyway, Mine's in Photoshop and it took about 80 mins.

Was playing with the photshop contrast filter and couldn't decide which of the two versions I liked better. So here's both. Comments much appreciated.

EDIT: Decided to go with the first of the two

I'm still tryin to just paint the image sans outlines.

Raisedbywolfs, the colors in the first one are better, cause in the second one they look to saturated to me. In he first the contrast is ok because of the choice of the collors youīre using.

Now, thatīs a strange stuff you painted... A catchup bottle and a teddy bear... Crazy CG people... Hehe...

all this creativity that it brings.

mabie "Drawing" + "nOODLES"

like people would scribble "doodles" and people would see it and say "That just looks like a bunch of noodles"

I'm still not used to sketching in Photoshop, but I figured that this might be a good way to get some practice. Not really happy with this, but I didn't want to spend more than an hour on it.

1 hour, Photoshop, Wacom

I tried to think of something more original, but what can I say, sometimes I'm lazy.

EDIT: I just realized that the composition on this is terrible. I should have moved the whole thing over a bit. Oh well, next time, I guess. :)

Hi everyone I've been unable to join for a few days and found it difficult to get back to
doing a sketch in time, anyway I'll try and post something earlier next time.
used my original version of Painter, wacom 45 mins because I couldn't remember how it works.

Not sure whether this is right, they aren't quite the same as red backs

RaisedByWolves
01-22-2005, 08:36 AM
You guys are right, the contrast in the second one is too much. It's just after I painted it I really wanted there to be a stronger difference between the shadows and what's lit by the doorway.

Plus I really like the fact that you can't see the front face of the honey bear in the second one. Very intimidating.

(By the way, that's one of those bottles of honey that is shaped like a bear... Never heard of it? Maybe it's just a northern america thing.)

Not sure whether this is right, they aren't quite the same as red backs

Well, Redbacks are USUALLY red on the BACK (not the belly) but then I guess that was artistic necessity, so never mind me...

Yep white rabbit
I live in australia and have had some very close encounters with Red backs.
I thought Blackwidows had a bit of red on their front. That's what I meant by "they". I'm no doubt wrong. :hmm:
