Next week I want to do an experiement.

Based on an e-mail from gordonm lets do a Kids week here in the daily sketch forum.

Lets post topics suitable and aimed to kids between 5 -13 years.
And if you know any kids in that age range, get them to give us their topics...
and maybe even their participation.

Post your ideas in this thread:

Is Kids week supposed to be for sketches aimed at children? Or for sketches by children?

Cause while my baby face looks are timeless, my actual age is slightly out of that range.

Both raisedbywolves.

But please if kids are posting they should only post with the current account of an adult who has been posting with us for a while (parent or relative).

Kids should only post under the supervision of an adult.

I have a few little artists around -> :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Can we get advance notice of what day this is going to be on so we can plan for the day? Nothing worse than finding out "that day" and having to squeeze it into the day's activities.

hehehehe ... read the post correctly. I will plan ahead (& learn to read). :D

This is going to be fun, how about asking your young offspring for some topic ideas too? What would they like to draw or see drawn? I have none of my own to ask but I wouldn't let them anywhere near my pc and wacom anyway... heh.

My only child is my parrot, I'm afraid. He likes chewing pencils.

A neat idea would be to have your little ones draw you a picture, and have the parents paint it :) a apple and tree collaberative, if you will.

I think that I'll make a drawing, print that out and let my 4 year old niece color it.
'Cos my little son is stil in his moms tummy :) (we're thinking of different strategies to lure him out...)

Anyway maybe a good idea for all sketchers without kids.

Heheh, he's back! Thanks Kirt. Love that little guy.

Good suggestions for Kids Week!
I have been racking my brain trying to come up with some - at the top of my list was "My Favorite Things" - an all time classic!
Oh well, I'll try and clear some of the cobwebs out of my 49 year old brain, and see if I can find the "kids section" in there (that in itself will be an adventure)
