View Full Version : Credit card material - shiny reflective plastic

Hi to all,

Well I need to create a credit card ... the model is simple, rounded rectangle with bevel modifier on it.
The problem is how to achieve nice reflective plastic material (render) on a non-spheric object. I've tried with vray render, bur for me it is very hard to achieve that effect on a plain surface.
Also I've found some free libraries, it seems for reflected objects they always use some rounded object (sphere or teapot).

Any help would be much appreciated,
Thanx
Best regards

Neil Blevins has a wonderful tutorial on flat object reflections.
