does maya export your saved shelves into a mel script?
and can this script be loaded into maya from another computer?

Hi,

Yes, it does. Go to My Documents folder where the Maya user prefs are... this should be something like: ...\My Documents\maya\6.0\prefs\shelves

There you will find all your shelves in MEL format. :)
