View Full Version : Rookie Question - Triangles
heltunderbart 01-18-2005, 09:45 PM Hi I know this is a real Rookie question but i just canīt figure it out.
I want to make a triangle in maya. Itīs supposed to be a "tall" triangle if you know what i mean by that?! There must me an easy way to do this? When i tried i took a cube and divided it in to 2 but that isnīt the right way to do it.! Or??

....Or the 'Create Polygon' tool in the 'Polygons' menu. Just click 3 times in one of your orthographic views, press enter and ta daa... a triangle :)

Just deleting on of the vertices is a few clicks faster.

Just deleting on of the vertices is a few clicks faster.
but if you delete one vert you gotta move the other one in order to get a isosceles triangle... so 2 operations vs 1....
cheers
