I wanted to create a realistic room with warm and cold light antagonism.

Polygonal modelling. Some objects are from 3ds free objects.
Tulips and fire are created with Maya PaintFX.
Mental Ray Rendering : Global Illumination and Final Gather.
Critix are welcome.

Good work. I think there maybe some problems with your shadows, especially with the objects on the table. The fireplace looks like there is some welding going on in there, but i think you achieved what you set out to do.

one thing that is really wierd are the lights on the top.. they looks like they r outside of their supposed place... or my guess is jsut wrong. good job anyways =)
