Hello all~

Since I'm a newcomer to the forum, I thought I'd post some work I'm doing right now on a short animated project. The following are animation tests to see if I could convey emotion through just body language without use of facial animation. See if you can guess what emotional states the skeleton is in =)

I'm hopefully going to use this for my demo reel, so please, any crits or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The files are in divx 4.12, btw.

My guess:

clip 1: Disappointed?

Clip 2: Really really upset (like i just got news someone died or something)

Clip 3: Boredom/upset (like he has to sit there and wait for someone)

Well the first one was more disappointed than angry.

The second one looks like despair, but can be stronger with the poses to show it.

The third, I know it's suppose to be exhausted, but it needs stronger poses as well to show it. Kinda looks like he sneezing too in this one. When it lets out a deep breath try smoothing the arcs and slow it down a bit. At the end of his breath hold that position just a little bit and also move the shoulders a bit to show how tired he is.
